- Robert Newman is the Senior Fellow in Homeland Security Studies at the Rocky Mountain Foundation and the CEO of the Newman Security Group, an international security and counterterrorism consulting firm. He has delivered security and counterterrorism services and training for selected members of the United States Congress and their staffs, Fortune 500 companies, a wide array of international industries and trade groups, NGOs, the media and government agencies. He served in the United States Marine Corps in the infantry, reconnaissance, SERE, special operations and counterterrorism from 1977 to 1997 and is a decorated, retired, partially disabled ground combat veteran. He is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, International Counter-Terrorism Officers Association, U.S. State Department's Overseas Security Advisory Council, and Force Recon Association.
